Well I finally did it!

Yes, I made the dreadful decision to have Paisley's first hair cut.  I loved her hair long, and one of the layers even had a little curl :)  But oh well, the screams and cries after bath while trying to brush her hair had to be put to an end.  The stringiness during the day drove me crazy.  So I took her with me when I got my hair cut and ask them to take a few inches off.

In the works...  What a big girl!  Don't get me wrong we had to promise a purple sucker when we finished :)

All done!  I know many of you are thinking I can't even tell, but really you can in person.  It looks a lot thicker at the ends and even has somewhat of a shape.

My baby is growing up!

This blog update is devoted to our Christmas festivities :)

Christmas Eve

Paisley is posing for a quick picture in front of our tree before we head to Cheryl and Wayne's house.  She looks sweet but don't let that smile fool you!

Quick hug/squeeze for Finn.  Finn is enjoying a cookie :)

Now it is Paisley's turn for a yummy cookie!

I LOVE this picture.  Paisley loves cousin Griffy.  How cute is this with the two of them smiling at each other!

Paisley playing with Baby #1.

Showing off her new camo bibs that cousin Jared bought her.  She loved them!

She got one more Baby this night but for some reason I did not get a picture.

Christmas Morning/Day/Night

Santa brought Paisley her first American Girl doll - Bitty Baby (Baby #3).  She was in heaven.  Santa also brought her a matching outfit and a big girl bed for her babies.  (Mom had a plan with the bed thing - Since we are about to move Paisley from her crib to a big bed I thought maybe we should get the babies a bed too so she can put the babies to bed before crawling into her bed.  I hope it is only that easy :)

The last thing I had to do to prepare for Christmas lunch was icing the cupcakes.  Paisley wanted to help.  The next time I looked at her this was the sight I saw.  Yes it was 8:30AM and she is still in her pajamas.

Showing off her matching hair and outfit with her baby.  How precious.

Playing with Baby #4.  This baby eats and potties.  I think we might forget that the baby does all of those things.  Craziness and too much for a 2 yr old to master!

Showing off Baby #3, Baby #4, Baby #5 of the weekend festivities!

Uncle Robbie and Paisley with one of Uncle Robbie's puppies :)

Paisley examining her new dollhouse that Grandma Sandy and Papa Bill bought her.  Adam and Matt were exchanging texts about the gifts that their children got.  Matt sent Adam a picture of a toy Deer hunting gun that Finn got and Adam could only send this picture.  But he loves having a little girl :)  How funny!

Day After Christmas

Cousins....  Almost impossible to get a good picture of 3 little children.

And the presents continue...

Playing with Baby #6...

Present from Uncle Matt, Aunt Britt, Finn, and Griff.  A pink glittery purse and...

and a purple flower ring.  Wow - she loved it!

Pais and Grandma Swinger.

Both kids got some type of Nintendo toddler game set from Grandma and Grandpa Swinger.  They were actually both content and quiet for about 10 minutes :)

Merry Christmas everyone!
Love ~ Adam, Jen, Paisley, and Baby Swinger :)
I am showing off my pretty Christmas dress that Papa Bill bought me.  I wore this dress to church on the Sunday before Christmas.  We had a special Christmas program and I sat and listened to Nancy read the story of Baby Jesus.

Have a great Christmas everyone!

Jett and Paisley...how cute!

Paisley loves Baby Jett.  I forgot to post this picture a few weeks ago.  Cheryl Morman watched Paisley today so she was able to have hands on experience with Jett.  She helped feed him a bottle and then asked Cheryl put him in her tent so she could read him a book.  Hopefully, this is a sign that she is going to be a good Big Sister :)!

This past weeked was our annual Chicago trip for my birthday.  Every year we go shopping and then to the Bears game on Sunday.  Of course, as always, the weather did not cooperate.  Here are a few quick pictures of the miserable game - weather and the Bears were awful!

Brrrrr...

Freezing...

At least we tried to look stylish...yeah right!

The crew had to sweep off the field about every 10 minutes.

I was able to see a few of my friends while we were visiting.  Here is a picture of Liz and I at The Grand Lux.

We saw Kristen and Dan and had a few drinks with them (well they had a few drinks). The picture of Kristen and I to follow. I also saw Kristin and Jo (thanks for the Bulls tickets), but we did not manage to take any pictures.

Overall, it was a fun weekend of visiting friends, Robbie, shopping, and spending time together.

Perfect bribery in order to get a little Christmas shopping done!

Santa was taking pictures near the train so I asked her if she wanted to sit on his lap while we are the mall.  Paisleys exact response, "Mom, no want to sit on Sant'a lap.  He's scary.  Maybe next year."

Kids are too funny :)
