Last Sunday was our Annual Cider Day.  For weeks straight, Grandma Swinger and occasionally Paisley and I helped pick apples.  The day was eventful, exciting, and yummy just as it always is!

Finn and Pais having a little sample taste :)

My Little Miss Hollywood!

Paisley is snuggling with little cousin Griff :)  Oh my gosh, he is getting so big!

And these two munchkins played on their golf carts (birthday presents from Grandma and Grandpa Swinger) all day long!

Family traditions are always fun!
So we just remembered that I have not posted some very special news to my fellow bloggers :)  Paisley is soon to become a big sister!  Yes, you read that right!  I am pregnant and due May 10th.  We will welcome baby #2 to our Swinger family :)
Paisley and I took a little road trip to Bloomington today to visit Justin and Allie.  We even got a visit in with Makayla :)  After lunch and nap, we ventured outside to the pond at their place and to feed the ducks.  Paisley had so much fun!

After the english muffins were gone, we walked around the pond with the doggies.

Paisley had to hold Peyton.

and Cooper.

The ducks were mad at us and followed us everywhere for more food.  They even chased us back into their apartment!

Thanks guys for a great visit!
Quick funny picture!

So no one believes me when I tell them that Paisley likes to check herself out in the mirror.  On this particular morning, she had an outfit on that Papa Bill bought her, and she liked her pumpkin outfit.  I left the room and when I came back in this is how I found her.  Too cute!

Friday night was the Annual Halloween Carnival at Paisley's School.  She proudly wore her Illini cheerleading costume :)

The first station was to decorate a treat bag with crayons and stickers.  Paisley was already in heaven.  Little Snow White is Paisley's friend Ellie in the Tiger Room.

Next was the bean bag toss in pumpkins.  Much to everyone's amazement Paisley made the first three pumpkins with her overhead tosses.  We might have a little athlete on our hands.

Next she filled a baggie that looked like a hand with popcorn.

And last which was probably Paisley's favorite part - decorating a sugar cookie.  She used purple icing with chocolate sprinkles and a pumpkin on top.  She loved it!

Pure enjoyment!

There were a few more stations that we didn't get pictures of.  The cake walk was another favorite and she won.  She was able to choose what dessert to bring home.  Of course she chose cupcakes with icing and sprinkles.  And there was a bobbing for pumpkins game where she won stamps.

This was the picture I took of Paisley before we left for the party.  She was doing cheers and spinning around in the kitchen.  Too cute in her tutu :)  Thanks Grandma Sandy for my Illini tutu!

Very fun night!  Thanks Pleasant Park Day Care in Chatham!

Paisley and I decided to paint pumpkins today.  She had a blast!  She even got some pink and orange paint in her hair :)  Oops, thank goodness for washable paint!

Work in progress....

...but she can always stop and smile for a picture :)

And the finished product :)

She is proudly showing off her pumpkins :)

We decided to use today as a relaxing day.  Maybe that was because the Bears game was on - who knows :)  Anyway, after nap time Grandma Swinger came down and helped us with our Harvest Display.  Most of these pumpkins were grown right here at Swinger Farms.   We use our land well :)

Paisley had to pose with the display.

We now had to do some chores.  These are all daddy's job but since daddy has been in the field it is mommy's job now.  Mommy has not been doing a very good job at it though :(  The dogs were in desperate need of some attention - food and water were the starters.  Paisley enjoyed filling up their water tank,  Mossy and Oak - soon daddy will be home and he will take better care of you I promise!

We hope everyone had a good weekend!
Yesterday, Jill Hedden and I decided to take the kids to the The Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur.  We dressed ourselves for a warm fall day instead of a very hot summer day.  We roasted while we were there.  Just as we expected, the place was crowded.  We had to wait in lines for everything!

When Paisley and Brant got tired of walking, they got in the stroller - too cute!

2010 King and Queen of the The Great Pumpkin Patch - this is an annual picture for these two!

And the Gourd Prince and Princess :)

Mommy and Paisley next to this very pretty mum display :)  Love, love love!

Paisley and Brant in the Child Maze.  They loved this thing!

Now which way should I go!

My own little pumpkin face!

And of course the two of them had to sit in the tractor like we don't have enough around here :)

We had a great day.  We even enjoyed a pumpkin shaped sugar cookie with icing and an
apple cider slushie - yummy!

Here are a some of random pictures of Paisley.  Paisley has such a personality, and she is showing it off in all of these.

Holding her baby on the couch that is wrapped in my Halloween dish towel.

This past Saturday Paisley and I went swimming at the YMCA.  She loves that place :)

Riding the horse at Meijer.  This is now a requirement when we go there.

Silly face - I have no clue where she comes up with these faces!

She sent this kiss to her daddy in the combine :(  She misses him!

She has now learned our weekend ritual - FOOTBALL!  We have another Fighting Illini and Bears Fan.  She cheers and screams right along with her mommy!

We were playing outside last night, and it started to get chilly.  I was grabbing whatever I could find to keep her warm.  Who says stripes, flowers, polka dots, and solids can't match ?!?!?!  I think I better find our warm winter gear :)
