I was off today and wanted to do something special with Paisley.  So we went to the Children's Museum in Decatur.  She had so much fun!

I though this was a perfect quote...

Checking out the sharks in the water table.

Playing with very large wands that make lots of bubbles :)

And then there is the play kitchen area.  This might have been her favorite.  She needed some groceries.  She must have been thirsty.

Now which macaroni and cheese should I get....Kraft or Velveeta????

Playing at the sand table aka rice table :)

In the dog house with stuffed animal dogs and bones...haha!

Hands up - weeeeeeeee!

Makin' some dinner on the grill like my daddy does.

Playing with cars on the tracks.

Construction Kid Zone!  She went straight to the hard hat and tool belt :)

Airplane Control Room - Look Momma at all of the buttons!

And the next several are all of her silly faces.  She was cracking me up!

A big operation table!  Paisley has some organ in her hand :)  She wasn't very careful so hopefully she is not operating on me some day :)

And one final smile for the our play date today!

Adam and I enjoying a few cocktails!

The last few weekends have been pretty crazy for us.  We have had a few adult activities planned.  So thanks to both grandma's Paisley was well taken care of.

Paisley is in Tuscola at my mom's dressed for a county fair pageant.  She loved going there.  I am not sure if she liked the pageant, corn dog, or the rides the best though :)  Oh and I also am not sure why she is standing on the table.  No rules at Grandma's I guess!

These are all pictures of Paisley at Grandma and Grandpa Swingers.

Grandma prefers little ones in their pajamas.  I was not surprised to get this picture at 10am and Paisley still be in her PJ's.  She was playing school with her crayons and paper.  She is starting young :)

Someone conned Grandma into icecream...yum!

And this is the trap Grandma puts her in when she needs to get something done in the kitchen.  Paisley goes constantly so sometimes you need restraint :)

Paisley's new favorite hobby...chasing the geese away!

Grandma has not had much experience with hair since she had 3 boys but this is her attempt with pigtails.  Too cute!

We got home today, and daddy missed his baby girl.  They cuddled this way for about an hour and a half while I unpacked.

After nap, we had to go check out all of her toys outside.  She wanted the sprinkler, and I was too lazy to go in and get a swimsuit so I let her run around in a diaper.  hahaha!  She loved jumping over the sprinkler and drinking the water like the dogs were doing!  And yes that is her tongue out :)

Tonight was so nice weather wise so we decided to eat dinner outside.  While Adam and I were putting the finishing touches on dinner, we caught Paisley outside having a lengthy conversation with the dogs.  She would talk to them, then pet them, and kiss their noses.  We could not help taking a picture of Paisley and one of her two best friends.

So today was supposed to be a day on the water at Lake Shelbyville....but the wonderful Illinois weather had other plans for us.  Our day ended up lots better though.  Uncle Justin, Aunt Allie, Cooper, and Payton came over to visit.  Paisley was sooo surprised to see them at our house when she woke up from her nap. We had a great day playing together.  Paisley loved her new sprinkler outside and even took her Aunt and Uncle to pick sweet corn.  And yes Paisley had to wear her pink farming boots :)

Here are a few pics from play time.  Paisley loved Payton and most of the time wanted her in her arms.

I know this next one is blurry, but I could not believe how much she looks like me.  I had to post my little minnie me :)

Paisley and Aunt Allie loving on Payton!

NO FEAR!

As most of you know,we have become county fair rats this week  With Adam being on the Fair Board and me being the Pageant Director, we are having to spend our evenings at the Christian County Fair.  Tonight was bracelet night.  Even though, this night brought out the best of the best of Christian County we let Paisley go on a few adventures herself.

Adam and I were not sure how she was going to react but I think the first picture says it all.  She cried at the end of every ride only because she wanted to do more.

She is on the Roller Coaster Dragon with the big kids.  She looks so little :)

She found her buddy Brant and they finished the night riding rides together.  These two are too cute together.

Daddy especially liked the four wheeler that the kids picked - camo and a deer head picture on the front :)

Last ride of the evening....

Overall, we had a fun family night!

Happy 2nd Birthday Paisley!  We celebrated her birthday with a cookout with family and friends.

Paisley got her first pink mustang from Mama Sandy, Papa Bill, and Grandma and Grandpa Wilkey.  It even has her name on it and a license plate - SWINGER 08 :)  At first, she really did not know what to think of it, but after awhile she realized she was a cool chick in her new car.

Paisley and Brant in the tractor.

Paisley went on her first date.  Brant asked to take Paisley's car this time.  How cute!

Paisley asked for a tractor birthday.  I decided to at least make the tractor pink and purple so it was kind of girly!  She loved her cake!

She also loved blowing out the candles.

Excuse the crazy deer in the background, but enjoy this smile from our 2nd year old!

My little sister made the trip to celebrate.  Paisley asked Makayla to rock her in Paisley's chair.  How sweet!

Thanks to everyone that came to help us celebrate and of course for the insane amount of gifts she received.  We love you all!

Paisley's actual birthday is June 23rd.  We can not believe our baby is almost 2!

Few random but cute pictures....

Paisley in the car showing off her green bracelet.

Paisley standing by the corn.  It is taller than her already!  Oh and she is holding apples.  She has to pick 2 apples every time she goes to the farm.

Paisley took out every toy in this basket and then said my turn pais in and she climbed in with an oven mitt on...silly girl!

And the drama queen.  She came up to Adam last night and said bump on my elbow.  Adam asked if he could kiss it and she said no - ice!  So we had to go get an ice pack.  By the way, there really was not a bump there :)

Have a good week everyone!
