I am showing off my pretty Christmas dress that Papa Bill bought me.  I wore this dress to church on the Sunday before Christmas.  We had a special Christmas program and I sat and listened to Nancy read the story of Baby Jesus.

Have a great Christmas everyone!

Jett and Paisley...how cute!

Paisley loves Baby Jett.  I forgot to post this picture a few weeks ago.  Cheryl Morman watched Paisley today so she was able to have hands on experience with Jett.  She helped feed him a bottle and then asked Cheryl put him in her tent so she could read him a book.  Hopefully, this is a sign that she is going to be a good Big Sister :)!

This past weeked was our annual Chicago trip for my birthday.  Every year we go shopping and then to the Bears game on Sunday.  Of course, as always, the weather did not cooperate.  Here are a few quick pictures of the miserable game - weather and the Bears were awful!

Brrrrr...

Freezing...

At least we tried to look stylish...yeah right!

The crew had to sweep off the field about every 10 minutes.

I was able to see a few of my friends while we were visiting.  Here is a picture of Liz and I at The Grand Lux.

We saw Kristen and Dan and had a few drinks with them (well they had a few drinks). The picture of Kristen and I to follow. I also saw Kristin and Jo (thanks for the Bulls tickets), but we did not manage to take any pictures.

Overall, it was a fun weekend of visiting friends, Robbie, shopping, and spending time together.

Perfect bribery in order to get a little Christmas shopping done!

Santa was taking pictures near the train so I asked her if she wanted to sit on his lap while we are the mall.  Paisleys exact response, "Mom, no want to sit on Sant'a lap.  He's scary.  Maybe next year."

Kids are too funny :)

Paisley received this purple tree from a family friend.  She begged and begged to decorate the tree and put it in her room.  We took her to her favorite store - Walmart- and told her she could pick out 5 ornaments.  Of course, she picked out all pink sparkle ones and one blue ornament with Rudolph on it.

Here is the before shot of the purple Christmas tree.

Decorating...and concentrating very hard!

Attempting to show off her ornament.

Comparing the pink stocking (or bootie as she likes to call it) to her own foot.

Ta Da!  She was so proud!

She is displaying her tree on her dresser in her room!

I think we have started a new tradition :)

Paisley and I visited my grandparents in Tuscola.  My grandpa was helping her put on a baby backpack full of essentials for her baby dolls.

And the finished product!

At my grandparents house, they made a bedroom full of toys to contain all of the grandkids.  We all had so much fun in there.  And now the great grandkids are enjoying themselves.  Paisley is sitting in the baby crib just as I am sure we all did too :)

And of course we couldn't come to Tuscola without enjoying Monical's pizza.  Paisley loves their breadsticks dipped in cheese and marinara (just like her mom) and spaghetti.  Yummy!

What a fun weekend!

Last Sunday was our Annual Cider Day.  For weeks straight, Grandma Swinger and occasionally Paisley and I helped pick apples.  The day was eventful, exciting, and yummy just as it always is!

Finn and Pais having a little sample taste :)

My Little Miss Hollywood!

Paisley is snuggling with little cousin Griff :)  Oh my gosh, he is getting so big!

And these two munchkins played on their golf carts (birthday presents from Grandma and Grandpa Swinger) all day long!

Family traditions are always fun!
