Today, Paisley and I went to a playgroup at Southside Christian Church in Springfield.  We met Brittany, Finn, and Griffen there.

As you can see the two little ones were very excited to go.  They walked in hand in hand.

Burger King donated a playground so of course this was a favorite!

Paisley found a play kitchen!

And then she found the baby section.  She thought the baby needed rocked to sleep.  She loves to put the baby on her shoulder and rock her to sleep.  She also likes to pat the baby's bottom.  Sometimes she is a little rough with that though :)

Here are a few more pictures from Easter morning!

Paisley found her first egg that the Easter Bunny hid for her!

Whoa look at my Easter basket!

Sitting in her chair reading her new Dr Seuss book that the Easter Bunny brought for her.

She posed for a quick pic :)

Sorry that all of the pictures are in her pajamas.  I guess I forgot to take pictures of her pretty little Easter dress!

Dying Easter Eggs!

Yesterday morning we dyed our Easter Eggs.  Yes I know we were cutting it a little close with time but oh well.  Here is our preparation!  Paisley is really into stickers so I thought I would help dye and then she can put sticker on them :)

Paisley is really excited and showing you her cheese face!

Major concentration to get that sticker in the right spot!

And one egg down!

Our finished project!

I am so sorry that it has taken so long to post something.  We have been so busy with schedules but looking back I am not sure what all we have been doing.

So anyway, I do not have any new pictures to post but I have a funny story!

I thought it was about time that Paisley learns to count.  We started working on this driving to and from school and then just when we were playing at home.  So we were up in Paisley's room on Saturday morning reading books and playing.  So once again, I asked Paisley to count with me.  We proceeded to count to 5 repeating each other.  When we got to 5, I shouted Hooray and praised Paisley for her accomplishment.  Paisley then turned around going to get another book and said 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!  Hooray!  I was in complete shock and disbelief.  I could not believe that she could do this!

I could not decide if I was a bad mom or not.  I mean I was only counting to 5 with her.  We do count to 10 occassionally, but I was trying to take the learning slow :)  So moral of the story, those great teachers in Chatham have taught my little baby to count to 10!  I guess the weekly tuition check is really paying off :)

Have a good St. Patrick's week!

Happy Birthday Justin!  Happy Anniversary Matt and Brittany!

Yesterday, we took a trip to Bloomington.  I dropped the guys off at the Deer and Turkey Classic and then Paisley and I went to visit my brother and his fiance.  This coming Friday is Allie's birthday so we decided to give her present to her early.  Paisley had to "help" open the present and then proceeded to put everything on that Allie got.  (This does include a tank top, shirt, and bag.)  And then she very nicely posed and said - CHEESE :)  What a little ham!
