Today was my day off so I wanted to do something fun with Paisley.  We decided that the weather was nice (except the 40 mph winds) so we would go to the zoo since it was outisde.

Here is a quick picture as we were getting started.  Oh I love the shades!

Paisley doing her famous monkey impression :)

and then her bear impression!

After the zoo, we went home for lunch and a nap.  But after nap, little miss Paisley convinced daddy to take her to the park!

She definitely loves her daddy and being outside!

Paisley has been sick for the last couple of  days.  But tonight her fever finally broke and she gained back some energy!

I was folding laundry on the floor and she wanted to help.  Just recently she is becoming interested in clothes.  Thank goodness she is not arguing on what to wear yet!  But she is wanting to add on clothes and shoes to her outfit if she finds them lying around.

She found a pair of jeans first...

And then her John Deere stocking hat that Papa Swinger bought her!

And the finished product!

What a silly girl!  I am so glad she is feeling better :)

This week is National Assocation of Education Week of the Young Child.  So in honor of the children, Paisley's day care decided to have a little fun.  Spirit Week came to Chatham Pleasant Park.

Monday - Pajama Day (Paisley was excited)
Tuesday - Sports Day (Paisley supported Mommy's favorite team - The Chicago Bears!)
Wednesday - Favorite Decades Day (60's,70's, 80's, or 90's)  I am not going to lie...when I first read this, I cracked up laughing.  How does a two year old know her favorite decade?  And then it came to....mommy gets to play dress up!  I found all of the clothes below at home to support 80's fashion.  I am pretty sure she could have been Stephanie Tanner on Full House.

Thursday - Beach Day
Friday - Red, White, and Blue Day

Justin and Allie came to visit tonight too.  They asked all of us to be a part of their wedding - Adam (groomsman), me (bridesmaid), and Miss Paisley (flower girl).  We are all so excited!!!!  They even bought Paisley a fish.  So we now have Belle the Blue Beta!

We went to dinner and Paisley's favorite waiter gave her her first sucker. She had no idea what to do with it so that made it even more funny :)

Today, Paisley and I went to a playgroup at Southside Christian Church in Springfield.  We met Brittany, Finn, and Griffen there.

As you can see the two little ones were very excited to go.  They walked in hand in hand.

Burger King donated a playground so of course this was a favorite!

Paisley found a play kitchen!

And then she found the baby section.  She thought the baby needed rocked to sleep.  She loves to put the baby on her shoulder and rock her to sleep.  She also likes to pat the baby's bottom.  Sometimes she is a little rough with that though :)

Here are a few more pictures from Easter morning!

Paisley found her first egg that the Easter Bunny hid for her!

Whoa look at my Easter basket!

Sitting in her chair reading her new Dr Seuss book that the Easter Bunny brought for her.

She posed for a quick pic :)

Sorry that all of the pictures are in her pajamas.  I guess I forgot to take pictures of her pretty little Easter dress!

Dying Easter Eggs!

Yesterday morning we dyed our Easter Eggs.  Yes I know we were cutting it a little close with time but oh well.  Here is our preparation!  Paisley is really into stickers so I thought I would help dye and then she can put sticker on them :)

Paisley is really excited and showing you her cheese face!

Major concentration to get that sticker in the right spot!

And one egg down!

Our finished project!
